Online Basketball Training and Challenge

Factory Sports is excited to create an online program that allows participants to improve on their basketball skills, yet compete against other participants. Our Online Basketball Training and Challenge Program provides coaching from the two-time Cape Henlopen Conference Coach of the Year, Pat Woods, as well as instruction from various top athletes. Our coaches will walk you through a wide-variety of drills designed to improve your basketball skills. As a participant, you can enter your score and see how stack up against your friends and classmates. This is a great way to work on your game and stay connected. Similar to our other esports and virtual programs, this too aligns with numerous beliefs that we value here at Factory Sports:

Social Distancing
Safe Environment

Access to the internet and an electronic device to view the program on.

a. Training sessions run Monday (6:00 am) to Friday (11:59 pm)

b. Each day a new challenge will be available for participants to attempt. You will have until Friday to perfect your skill and enter your score.
c. Submit your results via the Leader Board. You are allowed multiple attempts at the drill, but please only enter your best score.

There will be multiple leader boards based upon grade level.

• Elementary
• Middle School
• High School+

Participants are encouraged to be active within the program; share your comments and videos to the class. We will be giving shout outs and rewarding prizes to a wide variety of participants – so don’t be shy!

As a family owned small business, we depend on program registrations to fund our daily operations and the salaries of our full-time employees. We hope that the community has benefitted from our coaching and programs as much as we have over the past 6 years. At this difficult time, we humbly ask that you continue to support us as we attempt to provide new and innovative ways to coach and compete remotely.

You can support us by signing up for an eSport program, spreading the word to your friends, purchasing apparel, signing up for camp early, or even leaving a monetary “tip” to your coaches below. We miss all of our athletes and families and pray that you all are safe and surrounded by people you love.

NBA2K20 League

The NBA may be hold right now but the games must go on. Factory Sports is thrilled to be able to provide a way to help our athletes manage these difficult times. It is a part of our mission that athletes are able to compete in a fun, safe environment. Our NBA2K20 League fulfills this mission. eSport athletes will be able to compete against one another, for cash and other prizes, in the comfort of their own home.

Social Distancing

Safe Environment

In our first adventure into eSports we will be hosting a 14-game NBA regular season, playoffs, and eventually an NBA Champion. Players will be able to draft their team from current NBA players and compete against other players. The league is open to players of all ages and genders.

Please note that all players identities will have to be verified. This will be done through a variety of techniques, including but not limited too; Factory Sports registration, direct phone call from Factory Sports, and/or Video Meeting to start the season.

Participants must have a PS4 or Xbox One gaming console.

Internet connection and online network subscription via your gaming console.

 PS4 or Xbox One

We are hosting a tournament on both consoles. Please find which console you have and register accordingly.

Each league, PS4 or Xbox One, will consist of two divisions:

1. Rookie/Starter. This can be considered a beginner to intermediate division. Your game may not be at its best yet. If you lose to one of your parents or barely defeat your 6-year old sibling, this is where you should be playing.
2. All-Star/All-Pro. This can be considered intermediate to advanced. You have mastered your game and know “all the tricks”.

a. Each player is will be assigned a team. If there is a preference please notate this in registration. (The team that you chose or are assigned will not be made up of the current roster. For example, if you want to play with the LA Lakers you would not have LeBron James).

 b. The rosters for that team will be blank. The players for your team will be drafted, by you, during a live draft. If you are not able to attend the live draft, the players will be auto-selected by the computer. (The computer selects the best available player).

 c. Players are allowed to register multiple teams. For example, John Doe is able to register two times but he must also pay two registration fees. In the event that both of John Doe’s teams would face each other, either in the regular season or playoffs, one team must be designated to take a forfeit or automatic loss.

 d. Players are allowed to compete on the same team. For example, if John Doe wants to play on the same team as Jane Doe this is allowed. However, John and Jane Doe must both pay a registration fee.

 e. Regular season games do not have to be completed in sequential order, the order of the schedule. However, all regular season games must be completed by the deadline. If they are not completed, a forfeit loss will be given to both teams.

 f. Playoff games must be completed in sequential order. Please see below for completion deadline for each round. If a game or series is not completed by the deadline, a forfeit loss will be recorded for both teams.

-1st Round must be completed by Tuesday, May 5 at 11:59 pm EST
  – Conference Semi-Finals must be completed by Thursday, May 7 at 11:59 pm EST
  – Conference Finals must be completed by Wednesday, May 13 at 11:59 EST
  – NBA Finals must be completed by Sunday, May 17 at 11:59 EST

 g. The playoffs, and each sub sequential round may start earlier depending on the pace of play for the regular season and each playoff round. In the event that dates are moved up, the deadlines are still in place until all games are completed for that round.

 h. Factory Sports mission is to provide a fun, safe environment for youth to participate in sports. This eSports League is no exception. If you chose to communicate online during your contests, please keep this in mind. We will take all reports of undesired behavior seriously and hold the right to enforce our mission through a variety of actions, including be removed from the league without a refund or credit.
