Volleyball Academy
The Factory Sports Youth Volleyball Development Academy provides a structured pathway for players to develop their skills through measurable progress and level-based training. With objective evaluations, skill benchmarks, and a clear progression system, the Volleyball Development Academy gives every athlete a roadmap for improvement.
Beginner Academy: Sundays 4:30-5:30PM
For athletes new to volleyball or building their foundation. Sessions develop the fundamental skills — serving, passing, setting, and hitting — with an emphasis on proper technique, teamwork, and having fun. Underhand serving is expected here; no experience needed.
THIS IS YOUR GROUP IF: you’re brand new, can’t yet serve over the net consistently, or passes still go in unpredictable directions.
Intermediate Academy: Sundays 5:30-6:30PM
For athletes with the basic contacts who are ready to learn the game. Players here can serve over the net (underhand is fine), control a forearm pass toward a target, and make legal overhead sets. Sessions build overhand serving, serve receive, setting for hitters, approach footwork, and putting the three contact together in live play.
THIS IS YOUR GROUP IF: you can serve over, pass with control, and set legally — but hitting, positioning, and game play are still coming together.
Advanced Group: Sundays 6:30-7:30 PM
For experienced athletes who play the game and are ready to refine it. Players here pass consistently to the setter zone, attack with a full approach and swing, and know their job on the court — rotations, positioning, and coverage — without being walked through it. Sessions run at game speed: offensive and defensive systems, serve receive patterns, situational play, and competitive drills that prepare athletes for school and club competition.
THIS IS YOUR GROUP IF: you've played organized volleyball, your platform reliably finds the setter, you hit with an approach, and you know where to be without being told.
NOT SURE WHICH GROUP. Start in the lower group and coaches will move players up as they reach benchmarks.
REGISTRATION CLOSES SEPTEMBER 2ND. GROUP ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE EMAILED OUT ONCE REGISTRATION CLOSES.
