Student Athlete Study Hall

The adventure of the 2020-2021 school year has been up and down. Each school and school district have taken a different course and families have been forced to react.  The goal of the Student Athlete Study Hall presented by Factory Sports and Sylvan Learning Center of Lewes is to help provide a solution. Whatever the challenge is that your family is facing we want to help!

 

The Student Athlete Study Hall at Factory Sports in Lewes will provide academic support and athletic activities. Campers will be given dedicated time to receive homework support and participate in any classroom meetings. Sylvan Learning Center instructors will be onsite. Campers will also be able to participate in organized and structured game play and activities ran by Factory Sports staff. The camp is open to all.

 

The Student Athlete Study Hall will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Participants are encouraged to bring their iPad or other electronic device that facilitates their assignments. If one is not available, Sylvan Learning Center of Lewes will have extra onsite. If your student does not utilize an electronic device for learning, please ensure that they have all the necessary materials to complete assignments.

The daily schedule is updated to best accommodate the needs of those enrolled.

The various breaks that students receive throughout the course of the day are accompanied by a mixture of organized and free play. 

 

*Due to the the amount of inquiries we received - we will host Student Athlete Study Hall on weekly basis in June. This is a switch from our previous plan to conclude at the end of May. 

 

Registration

Monday & Tuesday Cohort 

This cohort meets every Monday and Tuesday during scheduled school days. The cohort is designed for those students who are attending school in-person on Thursday and Friday. 

 

Wednesday

No programming is being offered on this day. The Student Athlete Study Hall will not be meeting on Wednesdays. 

 

Thursday & Friday Cohort 

This cohort meets every Thursday and Friday during scheduled school days. The cohort is designed for those students who are attending school in-person on Monday and Tuesday. 

 

 

Full Week Cohort

This cohort meets every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during scheduled school days. The cohort is designed for those students who are not physically attending school, rather are being schooled 100% online.
